Brides Maids

When you begin to shop for bridesmaids dresses you may find that taking one or two of the ladies with you... a good suggestion would be to take the lady/ladies that will be the hardest to fit, as you would like to choose a dress that will go with her/their figure and coloring, the rest will look great in whatever works for them.

COLORS- Choosing a color for the bridesmaids dresses is crucial, you would not choose a Red halter dress but a halter in a softer color would look fantastic...

You may want to ask your Bridesmaids for input on the dresses but remember that the final decision is yours. Take note to remember the bridesmaids budgets as well.

ALLOW THREE MONTHS FOR SHIPPING AND ALTERATIONS!!!

remember to email the bridesmaids and coordinate hairstyles, jewelry and shoes... sometimes you may suggest the type of makeup as well.

Bride Groom and Grooms Men

The decisions for the grooms men's attire should be arranged around what the groom is wearing.  Be sure to have something about the grooms attire to stand apart from the grooms men (it would not do to have the groom over looked). 

Be sure to have groom and grooms men go to a tux shop to get their measurements and have them email them to you or your local tuxedo shop.  When ordering your tuxedos somethings to take into consideration are, time of the year; are you planning your wedding during a busy time of year... if so plan ahead and order about a month or two before wedding, if slow time of year a week or two will be sufficient... ask your tuxedo shop they will know their busy times and can give you the best advise for timing it just right. (fathers should stay within wedding theme)

Mother's of the Bride and Groom

Tradition dictates that the mother of the bride should choose her dress before grooms mother.  What matters is that they keep to the same level of class.  *good time to start is after the bridesmaids dresses are ordered unless mothers dresses need to be altered.. then remember three month rule for altering.  Good rule of thumb is to match with wedding color scheme. 

Flower Girls and Ring Bearers

You do not need to stress out about having the kids match the adults, but they should match the same style of the theme.  (remember to dress appropriately for their ages.)  Stick with a three month rule:  their likely to change size in three months, choose simple clothes that can easily be altered.
